Hi all,

Would love some opinions on what this could be worth. Google keyword tool for United Kingdom says 301,000 exact match.

Any ideas?

Thanks

interesting to see what people will value it at. i've got the .org.uk and '-'.co.uk

what are "outdoor shoes"? also there must be such a thing as "indoor shoes" i guess? (indoorshoes.co.uk is free to reg ;)
i cant see any value myself as i thought all shoes were made for the outdoors

I know what you mean actually.

However, unless the keyword tool is grossly incorrect, with over 300k exact match searches per month, who gives a rats a$$ what and why someone would type "outdoor shoes"?

I see loads of domains that I'd never type in using those keywords yet they sell for ridiculous amounts.

I was hoping for more of an educated opinion based on exact match searches, the fact you can sell a product (sports, hiking, lots of "outdoor" activities that require shoes!), etc. rather than "I don't like that name" kind of response.

Thanks anyway

Not keen on the .org however with 301,000 matches per month the domain has to be worth developing (once you've found the right product).

you cant knock those seasrch results, just wondering what "outdoor shoes" are? hiking boots/running shoes etc etc im guessing.
im not being nasty just never heard the term outdoor shoes before

I was actually agreeing with you boxerdog lol, all I meant was this domain has to be worth something with those exact search results but, I'm obviously new to domaining and approached this from an SEO/site building POV which is probably what you shouldn't do.

I'm going to slap a site up on all my domains today, get them indexed, get some traffic, then monetize. Then I suppose I can either try SEDO to sell them or if the domains suck that bad, I can flip them on flippa or wherever.

I'm not interested in type in traffic as I'd never get it for this one but was curious what people might think I could list it for (on Sedo?) with that kind of search traffic.

But, if most people say reg fee, then I'll develop the site, and go from there. For now, I plan to simply monetize it with Adsense and Amazon links or some "shoe" affiliate program. If it gets the traffic Google says it does, this shouldn't be too difficult to monetize.
