So i've been running a small ecommerce site for a good few years now, and have fallen into the trap of diminshing interest due to it not being a full time profession for me. Actually tried this as a little project to see if i could sell on the internet. Coupled with some dodgy site redesigns etc income barely wipes its' nose these days.
The seasonal/targeted product industry started off with lots of gusto as you could imagine and actually suprised with a >£10K turnover early days, but is now down to <£4K.
I did pop a few £K in start up capital in the site, so if someone/the gathered community feels i should stop then this will atleast free this up for something else
I really dont want to wind up the company/site and would like to seek some guidance/involvement to see if it really can become a winner, for that we foresee some assistance primarily on the SEO, Ranking, Linking topics but am happy to take any guidance on any aspect of ecommerce etc.
i've already identified that i feel the site needs more products so will be addressing that asap.
Just hoping a trusted pair of hands is around to call on or be involved with some fresh ideas.
I'll not disclose the site etc at present, as i'm soliciting some thoughts on where to go that i'll follow up with those i feel are best suited to assist.
