There wasn't a site on the domain so traffic wasn't a factor. I had a price in mind for what I thought the domain was worth, we negotiated a bit and then came up with and agreed to £28k.

'kin hell, you bought that off me on ebay a few years ago for £199 if I remember correctly :?

how did the buyer contact you if you had no site and contact details on page and uk whois is notoriously lacking in info?

Lol indeed I did mate. I always planned to make a site on it but I own poker.org.uk and made that into my main poker site instead.

A mutual friend who knew I was selling it, introduced me to the buyer :)

If my calculations are correct, that is a massive 13,970% return on investment:

[(28000 - 199) / 199] x 100% = 13,970%

... I can't readily think of many other types of investment that offer such massive ROIs. Pretty good going I reckon, congrats.

Rgds

£199 on ebay???????? I thought you were joking...

Jesus christ I dont know what to say, I would of loved this domain name to develop

It was about 5 or 6 years ago, one of my first ever catches. £199 was the opening bid, no other bidders!
