PR Link Selling

Hi,

May not be your thing, but please give me your feedback.

Thinking of selling a limited number of links on a PR5 site I have.
Home page links, customer chooses text (a couple of words).
Obviously dofollow.
Limited number of links for sale - 5 to 10 max.

What could I ask for, monthly and yearly?

Looking at monetizing some of my sites differently.

Prices vary a lot, but you're looking at starting at £25/month up, with 10% discount for 6 months or a year.

If you get decent traffic and/or you're in a competitive sector, you can ask for more.

Once you get a few links on there you can attract attention from those sites' competitors and increase prices. You may also want to look into what SEOmoz scores a link from your homepage gives - if they're good, factor that into your pricing (and also your proposal if you're intending to contact people).

Many thanks for your informative and helpful reply - much appreciated.

Traffic is low at present, though I'm working on that.
PR is secure.
Niche is in IT.

No problem.

Another tip is to try and hunt down websites who outsource their link building to agencies. Western agencies don't tend to care about getting the best price they can so you can palm them off with higher costs.

It may also be worth building your own sites, getting the love from your backlinks then selling them. Could give more bang for your buck.
