I was thinking of turning it into a page on the history of this person for history purposes if i had time

£10 for it just so I can point it to something more useful ie. Steve Irwin .

Stuff like this gives domaining a bad name :(

It seems to have taken Topbuzz little more than 8 days from the day this domain was registered in order to miraculously stop thinking there would be time to create a superlative document of history for us all and decide to try and earn a quick buck on it instead.

If only this kind of domaining could cease to exist and not bring down the reputations of responsible domainers or raise the suspicions of the potential generic domain buying public with it.

So I can't agree more with Rob's comment. SteveIrwin.co.uk - touching gesture - good on you, Rob!

Best wishes, Richard

I listened to what people said and decided not to park it and just whack up a quick a site with info on the person, Dont see the problem really

Ha, I see it's changed again now back to "for sale"... oh dear.

Is the use of domain parking generally frowned upon among domainers?

I suppose i don't like those advert filled sites either. I've only just recently parked 2 domains myself on sedo... for the purpose that anyone typing it in would know it is for sale.

Parking is fine for most names, I think the main issue is that you are 'earning' via the fame gained from stuff like genocide.

Each to their own though :)
