The latest figures published by security software company Norton suggest that cybercrime could be costing the UK at least £1.8 billion with more than 12 million people affected.
The report reveals that 75% of users believe cybercriminals are targeting social networks with 1 in 10 users saying they had been a victim of a scam on a social network.
