Had a great offer for a name today from Bob Bertolini seo@domain- hosting - services com Only problem is he want's me to have the name valued first.
Oh and do I have any more names for sale?

New domainers please beware of this scam.

Has had the rounds a while that old chestnut, but yes be aware as I bet a few people get all giddy and go for it.

It's never going to stop - I get many for domains that aren't even listed for sale.

I wonder how many emails Richard Branson gets that start. "We have a client that is interested in your domain Virgin.com....."

The one that's doing the rounds and filling-up my inbox is " domain XXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXX.com is soon to become available and we note it is very similar to your domain "XXXX.com........"

I get them ALL the time often from "ceo @ domain - hosting - services com" same name Bob Bertolini. Not to mention the rubbish i get from India every other day, I guess being an internet marketing company makes you prone to it. The spam filters are kept on their toes.

Hello,
Greetings for the day!
I am Pooja and I am contacting you after looking at your website- .
We are a Leading Indian Based SEO & Web Development Company and one of the very few company which offer organic SEO services with a full range of supporting services such as one way themed text links, blog submissions, directory submissions, article writing and postings..............

I get exactly the same Bailey. You would of thought after all this time that spammers would realise pigeon english isn't going to fool anyone, well, not anyone with half a brain cell.

Funny though.

We note "SexualNeedsOfGeriatricWomenInResidentialCare.com is soon to become available and is very similar to your domain Sexylady.com"

Haha ye true say. I think the worst I've had in relevancy terms was something like 'howtobecomeamillionairetonight.com is very similar to your domain motherandinfant.co.uk'. If you say so!

does anybody get the domain renewal company send you a renewal letter through the post saying your domain is about to expire (yes only 9 months left) and they can renew it for £25...

Appraisal scams: receiving almost daily
SEO scams: Few times a day (the worst spammer is called "Dr. Martin <something>" - forgot his name)
Reg scams: "One of our clients applied to register crappyname.cn, crappyname.asia... we think it might be your trademark... please get in touch...". Hmm... that stupid client(s) is trying for several years now :D
Link scams: Put your link on our link farm site, the only thing we ask is a return back-link ...

I might remember more, time permitting...
