Hello I am new here so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I have a client who forgot to renew there .co.uk domain name and it is now showing as "suspended" the renewal date was 27th June 2007 which from what I have read means it will become available on October!! Is there anything I can do to get this domain back for my client?.

ANy help much appreciated.

Thanks

Mark.

'back' implies they own it and have just failed to renew.

You can either :

TAG change to a friendly ISP and renew for a fiver.

Renew direct with Nominet.

Cheers,
rob.

free

if it is just a one off.... just search on google for "free .co.uk transfer in" and use one of the free offers available.... change the TAG or email the current ISP to change the TAG to the new free company then no charges for 2 years ;)

keep it in the exsisting name and there will be no nom charges either...

Many thanks for the feedback, the problem seems to be that Lycos have put the domain back as "external" so they tell me and I cant seem to find a way to grab it anymore.

If I try to register it just day already registered.

Thanks for the help.

Hi

Simply complete a tag change with Nominet and pay the £11.75. Change the tag to 123-REG - log onto their site, pay the renewal fee of a £5 and the job is done.
