It would have been interesting to see the best offer on here. I'd guess at somewhere over £1500. I'd also guess that it was sold elsewhere for a lot more.

There is/are lurker(s) on this forum who likes to offer more for sellers, instructing them to close bidding outright, as it is obvious, in a public auction someone among those watching, could have offered even higher for the domain with a potential.

For some unbeknown to me reason, many sellers are so naive and weak nerved, so they can't stand a quick flash of money in their face. Lured with a false temptation they pull out completely.
