If I have held a domain for 5 years and haven’t developed it 'yet' what kind of claim would a business with a hyphenated version registered 4 yrs ago have on it?
Could they close the door to potentially being active in that sector?
example domain - webrecruit / web-recruit
thanks

its a question devoid of all the pertinent information like what is it being used for currently, could it be considered bad faith?

can you prove intent to develop?

is it a UK or other TLD domain?

Currently its parked on sedo.
I doubt i can show any legitimate intent to develop after x number of years!
co.uk

Parking on Sedo can be dangerous in cases like this, as ads can be shown which can then be argued as bad faith usage.

PM me the name if you want my proper opinion.

Under DRS you can never be too sure how it will go. But thankfully domain parking and selling are now considered Bona-Fide use of a domain name whether that translates to the UK market I don't know.

My experience was to negotiate with the complainant and they gave us the DRS fee in exchange for the domain name as they did not want to set a precedence. The name was very much generic and did pre-date their registration.

Otherwise put your arguments forward, honestly and calmly and defend the complaint.
