Hi Guys
I am looking for the uptodate .co.uk zone files.

i am willing to pay for it.

thanks
Sam

You're probably too used to the GTLD word (.com etc.) There's no such thing as a "zone file" for the UK namespace - not an up to date one, anyway, although I heard rumours that one was floating around nearly a decade ago.

The best your going to get is a 3.5m decade old list, which is literally just a list of names no other data, do you'd need dac access to scan it and get the relevant data.

Alternatively, some people are offering to sell up to 3 months worth of drop data, I've never heard of anyone willing to sell their entire drop list, but if you drop enough cash someone likely will offer something.

Nominet remove dac access for anyone who sells a 'zone' file or anyone they 'suspect' of selling one.

around 10 million, more accurate info will be on the Nominet website

There is a page on nominets website which tells you how many of each type of ext there are but I can't find it :(

The register passed the 10M domains milestone in March 2012. The rate of growth has declined and the registry now stands at 10.24M domains.

The org.uk second-level domain has grown steadily over the years. At the end of Oct 2012, the org.uk SLD stood at 5.78% of the “.uk” registry. Year-on-year growth for org.uk was 4.7% and was slightly lower than the overall registry growth of 5.23% in the same period.
