Our site Visit Qatar has been up for about 18 months.
We have added content over the period.It is linked to our Visit-the-World.co.uk for Independent Travel Guides Holidays Flights Hotels which gets 500 to 600 visits a day. Most of those visit the Visit Dubai and visit-qatar.com sites.

Visit-qatar.com and visit-dubai.co.uk are two neighbouring countries in the Arabian Gulf or Persian Gulf.. Qatar is very rich in oil and gas. In fact it exports liquefied natural gas to the UK via Milford Haven, in Pembrokeshire. That is then piped up to Gloucestershire. There is a huge amount of economic activity going on in Qatar and Dubai. The latter is part of the United Arab Emirates, whose capital is the extremely wealthy Abu Dhabi. So these domains represent a very rich part of the world. So the potential for future business is enormous, giving these domains and web-sites a fantastic potential for expansion.

What would you say Visit Qatar is worth ?
I have put a lot of time and effort into that site. If you put the search term "visit qatar" into Google UK , it is at the top,I believe.
Too much effort has gone in to sell it too cheaply. Qatar is an immensely rich little country....PER CAPITA. My site would be worth a lot to a wealthy Arab wanting to market property or holidays in Qatar. If the right person saw it, he might well snap it up.

I think that Qatar is the 2nd wealthiest country PER CAPITA in the world.

time and effort does not mean anything when it comes to price.

I recently was looking over a deal where the sellers had put about a year and £50-60k into a site, the ballpark price being considered was under £10k.

I did not buy it as the stats did not add up, and it went for a few grand lower than my inital offer.

I like the look of your site - doesnt look amateurish at all which is kind of how mine seem to turn out!
But, very few backlinks for an 18 month old site, low PR as a result and doesnt look like it is getting much traffic.
I dont like hyphen domains really if I am trying to build an authority site.
Cant find any search volume for the keyphrase "visit qatar" which puts me off. I suppose that shouldnt put me me off as you could still rank it for hundreds of search terms but I am pretty much sticking to keyword/keyphrase domains for now.

The front page is enormous! Maybe break it down into chunks with bold underlined headings so readers can jump straight to the bits they are most interested in?

How much do you want for it?
How much income/traffic is it getting?

Still, there isn't that much there really. I had a look at your "premium domains" for sale too from the top banner - have you got a hyphenated place name fetish or something
