Have you ever been surprised that a domain was FTR when you where sure you had kept an eye on it.
I always try and keep an eye out for my surname .uk domain to see if any of them are dropped but they have been registered 10 + years and not dropped so I have not been able to pick any of them up. I had enquired about buying the .co.uk but no joy there either.
However when doing a bit of FTR hunt the other day I noticed that byrne.org.uk was available, so I got it in the bag
I am pretty sure it was registered recently, but I may be wrong, anyway I am happy. Not sure what i will put it to use for though, I use jonbyrne.com as my personal site and byrne.im as the family email extension. I might move my Family Tree over there.
Anyway enough rambling, have you ever been surprised like this?
