Where to go to find Dragons Den type businesses?

I would like to make an investment into a small business that I believe in, where I can also pitch in with help on the digital marketing side, in exchange for equity in the business. My belief there will be lots of businesses out there who would want the help on both counts, but I don't know where to find them.

I've had a look at some of the crowd funding sites, but I'm not interested in getting a t-shirt signed by the founders, i want skin in the game. Any recommendations of where to go? Thanks...

Actually figleaf.... there is literally right now a business called Time4Equity.com which wants to build what you describe, a sweat equity marketplace for exchanging skills and time for equity.
