We could have a good laugh on a thread about "Stupid Contacts" to sell or purchase.
How about this one ?? ( I'll have to keep out the personal stuff though)
Email (nicely worded) asking about a good brandable domain in .com. that I own
No problem so far - the email even has a link to the enquirers personal web address that sent the request (His name .com) so I click on the link to see who's enquirying. (his name is vaguely known to me anyway but not from any previous correspondence)
His Link reads. "I am the foremost broker in obtaining the best domains from current holders. I require only serious proposals amounting to domains valued at least US$15,000 which is the minimum amount I am willing to be commissioned for.
I will endevour to obtain the domain well within your specified budget on the agreed fee of US$1,000 plus 20% of the budget amount not required or subsequently spent on the securing of your required domain" - then lots of other blurb about the domains he's secured in the past
I guessing he accidently used his initial enquirers response template to send me the domain enquiry - but it gave me something to smile about.
