Who is buying these domains?

I'm curious, who actually buys the domains listed here and on sites eg.domainlore.

Is it end users, or in your experience mostly resellers?

In my experience resellers who will either speculate on them or use the traffic stats to bolster their own projects.

Here is mostly domainers/developers. There are some end users on Domainlore, but most of the prices things go for are bought by resellers.

As a newbie...then am here for projects in the long term....if I can get a quick win..then why not

Some of us are end users, but the % of domains that are worth proper investment in developing from scratch is tiny, far less than 1%. IMHO.
There's a much bigger market in selling to speculators/resellers, waiting for end-users could take 5 or 10 years + with no guarantees there will ever be one.
