Can't promise anything, but I've just finished college (software development) and might have a week free next week.

Wanted to ask if anyone on here needs any tools to help with domains (or whatever really!) and I'll see if I can get around to it.

Not really looking for money or anything, just want to get a bit more projects under my belt and thought here might be a good spot to ask since I've an interest in domains, sites etc.

Even if there's a simple little thing that would save you some time, give me a shout :)

Ah that enthusiasm you have is nice mate reminds me of myself when I was 18. Keep it up! :)

How about a Bulk Whois Tool like the one that was running a few years back.

Remember someone mentioning that a while ago. If anyone has more details about it (never used it) let me know.

Dave - Thanks :) Have to try put in some more work now that college is finished more than likely forever!

Literally started working on the bulk whois checker, and just realised Nominet don't load in the details as a simple html page. Looking for a good alternative now.

Edit - A high limit would be nice so people can check loads of domains.

Edit 2 - Actually, think I've found something that should do :)

you would need whois2 access for it.

Yeah I've realised that I won't get anything good for free. And I'm not sure whether I should put money in since most people probably want this tool to be free

Isn't whois2 free?

This is an example of what I had to do recently.

I had funeralcompany.co.uk and wanted to find relevant sites to sell it to, so I googled things like 'funeral directors' and got a fuck load of results.

I then went to every site and navigated my way to find their email address or contact us page, and emailed them all individually.

I guess it's not really software, but I've always thought a script that would pull a list of relevant results based on keywords and then automatically pull out their email address or contact us page for you would be great.

Perhaps there is something like that out there already, just an idea.

Can someone on this forum not employ you to do some freelance work?. Your mostly doing it for experience and because your enthusiastic and the person getting the work would be getting it for peanuts in comparison to going rates.
