Hi,

Major control panel update has just been rolled out:
  • should be improved usability for those with larger portfolios - (domain table moved)
  • feedback on user actions e.g. save/updating
  • stats broken down per domain
  • basic CAPTCHA added
I'm pleased people to hear people are getting offers via the system.

I do realise there is more to do, but so far users should have a pretty solid, commission free domain sales page, and domain monetization platform.

DM launched on the 23 June 2016 and served 21,000 pages. July did 93,000.
August did 347,000 with over 100k uv's.

I'm referring to this:

This domain is still available to buy
  • A 'no-brainer' investment for your online identity and future brand success
  • Start using a professional e-mail address: [email protected]
  • Relocate to thecommune.co.uk for a distinguished Internet destination
  • Stand out from the crowd with a premium and superior domain name

You want to be able to change the text across all domains to whatever you want in one go.

Yeah, with over 800 domains a custom message is not going to be set, I think most people only need a standard blurb but we cannot edit it for all names in one go.

Or groups of names ( obviously thinking going forward not right now ) it would be good to be able to group names in to categories of sorts which you could then edit the text to target a rough market , so if you've got 50 domains in the financial niches you can alter the wording to give more thought to those.

This would also be good for example if you want to bundle domains which no other broker/provider currently does, sometimes if ive got 5 of the same domain but in different TLD's id like to be able to sell all those 5 instead so the buyer is basically buying a protected brand with the uk domains, .com and various others.

I may be in the minority there but I think it would be a nice feature.

Also would still like to see offers having to verify their email before the offer is sent through, like a forum registration does but just something where they have to click a link sent to them in email to confirm the offer etc. I've had a number of offers now, one from yesterday which are either emails that do not exist or are misspelt.

Yes I have considered this and it is something that will added later date.

yep, had my first offer last week - and I only have a small portfolio.

on a domain I have had since 1999 :)

Hi Julian

I found a bug... if you update your profile page (it does not matter what you do) then it restores default settings and switches on display of phone number and email address.

Also, can we remove the 2 decimal places on the buy now prices .00 ?
thanks, resolved.

Is there anyway to recover your password on this system signed up a while ago but never got round to doing anything

Pages are better indexed in Google you think @admin?
TBH that's not something I have paid much attention to. My gut says yes but I dont 'know it'. You've got me thinking though, I bet if I listed and linked all my domains on DM from my fairly strong domains portfolio website they'd get some rankings.

Good stuff!

@admin - I hope you feel guilty about taking hundreds of pounds of commission fees out of the starving mouth of SEDO..

I would strongly recommend to users spending a little time to add minimal title and meta data on certain domains.
