I did a quick test loading a "Lead" instead of "Transaction"
This is where it gets a bit dodgy in terms of user experience.
Once you click "Add new lead" the form just disappears, no confirmation no nothing. Could leave you wondering if it went through or not...
The buyer then receives an email asking them to confirm that they made an offer.
Once they confirm they made this offer, they are redirected to Dan's home page which is also very confusing.
But they soon receive another email confirming they've just placed an offer.
From here on it behaves the same as if the buyer placed a bid directly on Dan's landing page.
You as seller receive an identical email as if the buyer made an offer through Dan directly.
The transaction page is the same and you have the option to Accept, Reject or make a counter offer
So from this it looks like the workflow I was suggesting is correct.
The only thing that I would say is open to some interpretation is this requirement:
IANAL so maybe someone with more legal experience could suggest the best format for this.
But the important thing is that the workflow is feasible.

It's therefore essential that an unambiguous wording is used on your form (i.e. "You are making a legally binding offer of...") and maybe even add some terms and conditions. The lead import tool we provide is only to be used when you have a firm agreement with the buyer, and they have agreed to purchase the domain name when you contacted them outside of our platform.
