A fairly non-commercial NAME.org.uk domain will soon end the suspension period. There are various TLD domains of the same NAME.tld that are still unregistered so this is not a hot property domain!

How likely is this domain to be snapped up by a domain speculator?
What proportion of expiring domains get snapped up these days?

In general what makes a speculator consider snapping up a domain? I expect there are many different answers to this question!

I'm afraid it's knowledge.

If it's not a hot keyword (which from your description it obviously isn't) then it'll only be snapped up if you have connections with a possible buyer(s). Simples.

It's just a gut feel for me and I'm often wrong. Take a look at Domain Prices to see what is selling.

Also depends if you are buying to try to flip it or develop it.

I try to think that I'll develop them so that if they can at least pay for themselves whilst waiting to see if someone wants to buy.
