The last couple of weeks I have barely loaded a domain

It's been easily the most awful spell of drops since I started catching early 2013

Depends what your expectations are going on. It wouldn't be worth the time I used to invest in it, today. Desirable domain names will continue to expire and be deleted. However it might not be economical to continue investing ones time and resources into the overall business of researching and chasing. The return on the sales might not be there. In my opinion some chase domain names because it's a bit of a vice and a thrill. Once the domain name has been deleted the novelty appears to wear off.

There are other obvious reasons for catching domains other than just their prima facie value. You need sophisticated and automated tools. There are three prime markets. I know Murray knows these and I'm not going to elaborate here.

I was actually thinking of posting the exact same thing. I think I've chased one domain name in three weeks now and it's not looking good for the next 7 days either.

How long do you leave it until you pack in though?

Certainly been very poor recently, though I've caught a handful (or had a few caught for me) this past week I think are decent-ish, such as LaserLipo.co.uk. In general, certainly slow right now!

I've been hospitalised the last week or so after being ill a few days, so haven't been loading or booking. I don't know about the last week, and haven't looked at any lists for the next week or so either, but there has definitely been a longer dry patch than any I've been before.

I was thinking about this (not much else to do in hosp), its 10 yrs since the big cull of 2004 (a hugh's time) and the implied glitches, hence everything were snapped up by a few select people who still hold them all thus nothing much dropping other than genuine business.
