Ave click through % - Ave $ per click

I'm after a couple of general answers to these very general questions, whilst i realise there are many different variables.

I'd be interested to know the following:

Ave. click through %

Ave. $ per click

I just want an overall figure, i realise different keywords pay different amounts, but if i had an average portfolio for example.

I'm hoping someone at Namedrive could give me these figures?

We'll i would'nt consider it particulary private information, we could all give it from our parked portfolios etc.

I not really concerned with SEDO's as i'm parked with Namedrive.

I'm just curious thats all, especially with the click through % so i can see if i need to optimise my names etc.

some members of a group did something similar to compare ppc rates for specific keywords on different parking programs..

6.8% ctr $0.31 Namedrive

Both vary quite a bit depending on month and what domains I select.

Some sectors are much better, some much worse!

Mines currently 11.63 CTR % PPC US$ 0.12

but very early days, i've only been parked a week.

PPC US$ 0.83

Jan
CTR %10.33
PPC US$ 0.11

"All Time"
CTR %10.83
PPC US$ 0.57

As you can see, the CTR seems pretty consistent!

Sorry I haven't posted on this yet but I find it hard to see how it could help anyone as every account, every country, every domain is different on our system. They're not figures which we're particularly happy to hand out, mostly because we don't feel it would really achieve much, but also because you never know who might be watching. Well you do, but...

I generally say for UK traffic, that it should be around 20% CTR and $0.20 PPC, the good old 20/20 rule. This cannot be true for every account, but it's certainly what we aim for. As you can see from the three people who've already posted:

CTR % 10.83
PPC US$ 0.57


CTR % 11.63
PPC US$ 0.12

ctr 12%
$0.28

That the average PPC tends to vary, while CTR across those 3 accounts seem to be lower than we'd like for UK traffic. Without being able to see the individual accounts, it's impossible to really comment.

All I can say is that if you'd like us to have a look to see if we can get the CTR up, then we'll gladly do so as everyone benefits. Just drop me a PM or email.

Thanks for the reply, its just me being nosey really with the figures.

I realise that there are so many variables to consider that its impossible to give a precise answer but your 20/20 figures are useful, thanks.

Of course, it doesn't help the averages when on some of your domains, the only visits they get are you checking they are still working
