I want to buy a domain owned by Stephen Stock, reg through Halliwell Computing. Obviously, i'd rather not say which one.

I've emailed a few addresses, and no reply. Anyone any bright ideas?

He might not want to sell, but rather hear it from him first.

Thanks in advance.
Johnny

Try sending a mailbomb* with "FAO Stephen Stock" in the subject line, and that you want to make a serious offer for whatever.co.uk in the message. Also apologise for the unconventional approach.

*When I say mailbomb, I don't mean send zillions. Write a script to send maybe one every 5 minutes for a few hours. Make sure you send it to an address that isn't bouncing. Try postmaster@.

Or, you could just try and contact them through the tagholder.

PS Halliwell Computing is now disolved.

If it's dissolved, they no longer have a contract with Nominet and hence no valid tagholder agreement. Very odd!

Yep. Thats the problem.

I guess once Nominet updates, it'd be DETAGGED. Up to Mr Stock to follow up before drop time.

I'd like to get in touch before then though.

on this subject, anyone know how to contact 365INTERNET AKA 'G Faraz'?

I need G FARAZ too

Halliwell Computing disolved TODAY 29/11/05

What's the betting the creditors didn't know about the domain names??

Cheers guys, have worked it out. Snail mail going out tonight.

They were the registration agent rather than the registrant so it may not be an issue. But I don't have a PRSS subscription to check...

the company went into self disolvement
so dont think it has credititors. just a normal winding down of business

G.Faraz - anyone?

Has anyone had any success talking to G.Faraz? snail mail?
Doesn't look like a real domainer to me, so I wonder if someone dealt with him after all.

Im pretty sure he is either a member here or was a member of the old dropcatcher forum - 365internet was his username I think...........Or maybe not !?!

Steve[at]bee.co.uk or use the form on http://www.bee.co.uk/contact.html

He must have created Bee Internet Ltd when he bought/retagged bee.co.uk off that uni who had it suspended.

I think his brother Jonathan Stock is a director of www.safenames.net

I remember when they won the tombola at Domain Channel :D
