Custom Parking Script

In a recent thread (http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/general-board/45790-parking-vs-sale-landing-page-vs.html), I was unable to sleep as per usual and I was already in dreamweaver so I knocked up a simple parking script.

I have put about 4-5 hours code in so far and am developing a 'holding' page version of name drive, this can have ads so you take 100% cut of your ad money or plain to avoid DRS city but all run from your own hosting.

I currently have the site test bed with

goosedown.co.uk - Goose Down Pillows, Duvets and Bedding, - Skindustrial Developments
pornservers.co.uk - Porn Servers - Adult Web Hosting Guide - Skindustrial Developments
24i.co.uk - 24i - 24 Hour Information - Skindustrial Developments
Holding Page - Default Holding Page - Skindustrial Developments

All those pages are generated by the single file script, this would run from a single £2ish a month hosting account would run this easily.

At the moment the script is messy and ugly as its still growing on the ugly tree, once its working how I want I'll add custom header/foot options, optional CSS styling and some other stuff.

Would there be an interest in such a script ?

i know a certain member on here has tried it out and thinks it needs someone work but if his pestering pays off this might be a credible solution.

especially when PPC is slow low

I have added a basic header now and worked a bit on the layout, I still need to add the code to remove the contact box on domains that are not for sale. Also need to add a captcha box for the contact as it gets randomly spammed.

I will probably release it open source.

I posted most the code in another thread by edwin, called parking vs mini site vs ? or something like that

I'm currently trialing a free script at HeMan.co.uk that I picked up, with a PHP Contact form I also whacked in myself.

It's all a bit rough and ready but does the trick and pulls in content/Google ads etc and hopefully lets people know the DN is for sale - all in the space of a few minutes work.
