delete domain

Can someone tell me how I delete domains in the nominet online service?

I have a tag and some domains on it which i no longer want. is it possible to delete them immediately rather than wait for them to expire?

Yes, Login and go to Web Domain Manager >> Domains >> tick the boxes next to any domains you no longer want and click the delete button at the top of the page.

I think you do it from your domain account and not your tag account.

I've tried both and each gives me "not deleted for reason: V151 Domain name has been paid for "

Yep I think that is time limited though mate, up until you have paid for the first invoice or it has been sent to you.

Not sure then Essexboy, I haven't deleted one on this system so not 100% sure. Might be best to give nominet a call in the Morning.

I think your looking for "cancel domains"? They won't be deleted instantly but over the next 24 hours. Applies to paid-up domains.
