I have multiple domains whose server in US and I want target UK market. So how difficulties I will face. But one plus is that my domain extension is .co.uk....... Please advice me if any.

You can install Google Webmaster Tools and change the setting to say that your site is targeting the UK.

There are mixed opinions on how well this actually works though, so if you want to be completely sure you should get UK web hosting.

Server location is not an issue with ccTLDs - ie if you have .uk domains then the server can be anywhere and geotargeting in webmaster tools isn't required.

Geotargeting is only needed when you have GTLD (or "vanity" TLD such as .TV .me .co etc) that you want to target to a geographic region (country / continent / language etc)

i had some .co.uk amazon affiliate stores that were doing OK on a US based server, i moved them to a UK server and for some reason or another the stores are now as good as dead.

I dont know whats to blame, but thats all that changed.

Two 'geo-targeting and server location' videos here. Probably both out of date! ;)

When it comes to building traffic shares for websites and trying to improve their ranks on major search engines like Google, locations of hosting servers and incoming links would be very important. For example, by using a UK based hosting package and also getting links from UK based websites, blogs, directories and portals, you would get better results.

Some webmasters even believe that shifting to a local domain registrar might also have benefits but I believe it is not a huge matter in here because as mentioned, Google would look at where your links are coming from and from what countries they are originating to evaluate your ranks or positions.
