Can anyone explain why the following have not been suspended?? I've noticed this on a few, but didn't think much of it as they were TagNames, until I saw it on one which was not one of theirs.

Have I missed something?

Because they belong to tag names and they are special. No one knows why they are special but they are.

As I said, I thought it was just Tag Names, so I ignored it, but then saw it for another Registrant.

This happens so much, I can't even bother to ask why anymore, well some people are better off in an unfair way, that's the way of life, face it.

I believe it's to do with invoicing. The tag holder is invoiced by Nominet after positively renewing the domain names. The tag holder has 30 days to pay the invoice. (I think) The tag holder doesn't pay the invoice. The domain names switch back to Renewal Required at some point. I forget how many days it is until the domain name goes to suspended again but, sometime before then, the tag holder renews and pays. That's an idea of how it might work but there could be other missing steps in the process. I don't know as I don't do it myself.

It's a way of getting extra time by not paying your invoice to Nominet as a tag holder when it was due.

Nominet had told me this as well, so it's true. However, the domains should still be showing as suspended during all this. Unless, of course Nominet have now received the payment and are awaiting a cheque to clear??

Well if you believe that... then.... well....I am going to vote Gordon Brown as PM in the next election

Lots of TAGNames suspended names now renewed..... Till the next time
