Will we get a chance of getting any of these .co.uk ones?

Anyone know what the release process/application etc will be?

It will be totally unfair if all the bigger players get dominance on these and resell for ridiculous prices or hold etc. :)

I hope everyone has a fair/equal chance.

I think its safe to say whatever happens it will never be "fair" when these kinds of domains are involved.

You will need to dig deep for these domains even if they are auctioned off , we are looking in the range of £X,XXX or even higher (most likely higher).

Mhmmmmmm :(, at least I completed the Nominet survey previously with my comments. :|

I hope someone at Nominet just posts an update on the site simply saying "we are dropping them all now" at about 3am in the morning.

Then hits the big red button with no prior warning

LOL! Yeah! Free for all I say!

I am a bit confused here what exactly is going on - could someone explain please?

Thanks in advance,

Flinty

A bucket load of LLs will be sold off for the Nominet Charity, with the big players nabbing the lions share of them.

Lesley will get her OBE in January 2011!

Will it be similiar to the .co release ,where any domains pre ordered during tm sunrise by more than one person will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder?.

I wonder what happens with .me.uk domains.
The trademark thing surely doesn't apply.

Then they'd all get nabbed by Californian and Australian domainers - we'd wake up to the forums full of gloaters!

so what do you think theses would sell for ???

ie two letter ones ? anyone hazard a guess ?

Someone mentioned £1,5k somewhere.

I think it depends on the name, like if you had a short version of a company name, it would be a worth a lot. Like ae.com is for american eagle.

Someone want to catch my initials? :D
