what 'real' use do any of these have???
rush on but not for me
Sell them to idiots (with a hefty markup) who think they're going to get rich from them?

rush on but not for me
so what do you think theses would sell for ???
ie two letter ones ? anyone hazard a guess ?
edit - I'm assuming it'll be an open auction with everyone having time to bid on them...
TM holders get to fight it out in private auctions, everyone else gets to bid on the scraps I believe.

Trademarks are applied in classes for use, so 20 people could own a trademark for BA but likely only one in class 39 for Transport
How can someone have a trademark on a one or two letter domain? If I want to buy BA.co.uk and make a gay porn site called "Boys A**es" I wouldn't be breaking any trademark rules would I? Surely I just couldn't use it in travel/flights?
Unless you've been running Boys A**es since before 1st January 2008 you wouldn't have a claim on it anyway as that's Nominets cut off date.

You wouldn't be breaking any rules. Sunrise part 2 is for unregistered rights holders so I'd guess most companies that are commonly known as a 2 letter abbreviation will fall into one of the first 2 sunrise periods.
