MDHP charged $1 per pixel so you could charge similar and just hope you can get a story in a paper or magazine or maybe on TV.

Think of something completely ORIGINAL. There are thousands and thousands of million dollar homepage clones out there, and together they probably earned less than the original did on its own!

99.99999% of the original site's value was generated by the novelty. Once it was done, the second site looked like a copy-cat, and the 1000th site just looked lame. And that was quite a while back, so we're deep in the sub-basement beyond lame right now.
