Have a good election but remember if it's not the answer you want you can probably do it again :)

I hope Clinton gets it.comes across slightly more stable.trump comes across very unhinged in lots of ways .but I guess we all have our views on this.i guess if we dident have politics or relegion we would have no wars and the world would be a better place.

I think the world might be in trouble either way. Trump's a complete idiot and Clinton seems hell bent on squaring up to Putin militarily.

Wow, didn't expect that. America is a lovely country, but with backward facing inhabitants, they've just elected a hateful man, a sexist and a racist. Speaking to my friends on whatsapp this morning, one said, "well at least now they can kick the Muslims out" - I think this sums up the madness and hate there is in the world for fellow human beings and it makes me deeply sad.

Things are likely to get bad there incredibly quickly. I get the sense there are plenty of people who've been waiting their entire lives - nay, generations - for "payback" for any number of slights, real or imagined... and this shocking, terrible outcome will be seen as the green light to go and get it.

(I was up all night watching the returns until about 6:30am when I couldn't bear it any more - the nightmare came after I woke up again.)

First brexit and now Trump its going to be an interesting next few years. Lets hope change can be positive the worlds just become a more scary place for the average westerner

Sadly with idiots like Trump in power extremists will only go to more lengths bomb the West, when you try and solve an issue with more hate this is what happens. What a stupid world we live in.

The US electorate had a poor choice of candidates on offer. You could replace the word 'Trump' in your post with 'Clinton' and it would also be a true statement.

The Cowboy states Won. Bit like the brexit stuff - The more remote your living, the more Right-wing Peeps become.

What with Brexit and now Trump, Just goes to show what a whole waste of money these Pollsters and Predictors are. being over 60 and retired I do feel I'm just a spectator these days - and dare I say extremely grateful for completing my working days many years ago, when your future was pretty much secured from middle-age.

You'd imagine that Trump would've lost to any credible candidate. It's just that Clinton was so tarnished by lies and health issues, to elect her would have been equally if not more shocking.

It's a shame in a lot of ways, after having the first black president, having the first female president would have felt like another milestone. It's just a case of wrong female though.

How much will actually change is anyone's guess. It feels seismic today, but then life goes on.

A lot of republican policies seem a bit crazy to us Brits, but (as with Brexit) there is the same feeling that you can't keep ignoring the people without forcing change.

I couldn't have voted for either of these two. (Still 100% convinced that Brexit is a positive thing though!)

Not just tarnished by lies and health issues, but her foreign policy seemed intent on direct military confrontation with Russia.

America's worst nightmare was 9/11... Now it's 11/9.

Hardly unpredictable, was it? The 'experts' were wrong again.

This is what happens when the people feel unable to express an honestly-held opinion, for fear of being shot down by the neo-liberal elites in the media & politics.

We daren't say anything in print, or on social media, so we express ourselves in the privacy of the polling booth.

Anyone who wanted Clinton to win, knows very little about her.

She is as close to evil incarnate as any woman has ever been. Her and Bill's 'Clinton Foundation' is a fraud from top to bottom...ask the people of Haiti what they think of it.

Also google 'Clinton body count' - there are only so many times coincidence can be used before it starts to get ridiculous. Check out her husband's history as a rapist and paedophile...and her history in covering for him. He's not the only paedo she's got off...it's sickening to hear her laughing about getting a guy off on a technicality who raped and left for dead a young girl. Sick bitch.

The world is a safer place with her out of power.

As for Trump - he's likely very similar, and will answer to the same boss - the CFR. WW3 is still a possibility, but with her it was a certainty. She openly stated that if she won, the US would attack Iran (why?) and "obliterate them".

It amazes me how, with potentially millions of people to choose from, it ends up being between two people no one really wanted.

Wonder how many people would have backed the current president to have stayed on if it was allowed?

I guess the next 4 years are going to be interesting...

Oh, the one who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 and went on to become the US President who has spent more days at war than any other, and signed off on more arms deals than any other too. What a guy! What a fraud.

But deluxedomains...you're right, I bet he would've been elected if he could've stood a third time.
