Hello Andy
Welcome to AD first and foremost.
Your questions are not stupid by any means, everyone has to start somewhere and believe you me, in this industry, you can never stop learning if your mind is inquisitive enough, and anyway, asking 'dumb' questions is good for you invariably as you'll get dead simple answers by return, which will aid your learning process curve.
Now, this domain of yours. The poster above rightly pointed out that it's an unpopular term, to be honest with you, no punches pulled, you are going to find out, I may as well tell you straightaway, that you are not going to receive hardly any revenue from parking this domain with Sedo, and the chances of finding a sale for it to, to an end user, I think your chances of this happening are slim to say the least.
All is not lost though. When did you register it, and with which registrar? If during the past 5 days, you may be able to cancel the domain in question and get a credit added to your account, enabling you to buy something else with the credit given, that will stand you a much greater chance of earning some revenue from and too, the chances of finding an ideal end user.
The best thing you can do rightaway, since you are new to this game, is to not buy any more names just for now. First, read up everything you can about the subject, to get yourself well acquainted with this industry sector. As with anything, good amounts of research and knowledge helps, and I do not mean, just reading for a day or two either.
If you really find this fascinating, read constantly everything you can for at least two months, for at least 4 hours each day or the equivalent of such. Believe you me, researching like this will make you more money in the medium to long term and in the short term, will save you oodles of cash that might be wasted on near worthless domains. Every new domainer we know is eager to get going, this is natural, but it's also folly to believe you will very easily earn money from this approach, you must do your research first to understand the basic why for's, pro's and con's.
It is generally accepted too, that the best place for newbies to potentially earn money is not from new name registrations, but names bought in the aftermarket. First of all, check out this forum for some excellent advice, then afterward, bookmark

If you really feel the urge to register a name, at least run it past one or two experienced domainers first. Some of them can be fairly close knitted and don't like helping out others, but you will find more than a few who love helping out others and sharing some tips and advice. By all means shoot me a pm message anytime and I really will do my best to help you, and the same applies to anyone else too, the offer is always there.
Wishing you all the very best and if there is anything at all I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to get in contact.
Kindest regards.
Mark
