I own some domains, but am not really a domainer, I bought the domains to use for niches and it got of hand, so I now own hundreds.

Someone made a significant offer for one of my domains that got me thinking about domaining as an interesting business. My focus definitely is keyword rich, or domains that could form portals.

I have been lurking here for somewhile, and have bought one or two as a result of noticing them on the dropping lists.

So thanks acorn!

Welcome to AD
Glad you've 'come out' so as to speak!
Go on, tell us your best and worst domains, you do say you've got hundreds.
Enjoy your time on here, there's some great people who contribute so hopefully you too will chip in now and again and help make AD a great resource for all to benefit from.

I attached a few in my "domains for sale" in profile to give an idea. Too many tolist, although I am thinking of using say "domainprofiter.co.uk" to list available domains...

Got a lot of generics of use to someone... eg "cookingpans.co.uk" am busy putting sites on some of them to get age and rank, with a view to finding a business to either lease or sell to.

Before I knew anything about domain names I bought some real trash which sounded good at the time, including miss spelt brands (definitely on the legally dangerous end)....am allowing them to drop now.

some domains like

www.sagecourses.com sound good, but I worry about brand owner backlash.

cant see how it hurts them to have someone selling courses that promote their offerings, but you would live in fear of "cease and desist"

Welcome to Acorn (we're nuts about domains)

I notice you haven't listed wallet#co#uk on here, do you actually own it ?

And yes stay well clear of TM domains ;-)
