Hi all,

I'm rather new to Namedrive and I'm feeling really confused right now...my revenue keeps going up and then nosediving until rock bottom...

Not because I have few clicks...but the PPC always seems to change and first its 0.04...then its 0.10 then...its back or even worse...0.01....

I'm really confused...I know that Namedrive updates earnings every 48 hours but after 4 days.... revenue actually shows that it went down bigtime.

Sedo isnt like that, as far as I know...the revenue is always stable...what you see is what you get...

I wonder whats all the fuss about Namedrive if they only pay $0.03 a click in the end? Could anyone care to explain the Namedrive system to me...as I'm really shocked to see the my latest "earnings"...its really really down...

Thanks & regards

Edit: I did move some domains to namedrive thinking I could earn more but looks like the earnings are nowhere near Sedo at all...going by the looks of things... :(

Namedrive gives you a rough estimate of what the PPC is for the hit/keyword and then amends either up or down 24 hour's later, i think they do this as they do not recieve the real figures from Google or whoever until some time after the add has been clicked.

I promise you it's not always a dissapointment i often get a pleasant surprise and see PPC go up 10 fold, it all depends on what keywords you use.:-D

Thanks, but its not encouraging even after 4 days...

Well...first the clicks come in...then the earnings go up for the first day...

I'm like...great $1.00+ a day...but then they revise it again and then the earnings drop ...and then goes up again for day 3...but ..

On day 4, I see a pattern emerging, it seems that day 1 and day 2 have their earnings "set" as $0.03 or $0.04 and every subsequent day, the earnings will initially show as $0.10 or $0.11 but be revised back down to $0.03 after 24 hours or so...and its building up...all the days PPC will be set as $0.03

So after 4 days...a domain that would earn $1.00 per day at least on Sedo...is showing in Namedrive as $0.40-0.60 per day

At this rate, I 'll never even reach the $20 threshhold...

And not to forget, Sedo's default currency is Euros which is a tad bigger than a dollar.

Go back to Sedo then.

Yes, just considering that...but wanted to see what the fuss was about...

In reality CTR is higher, but doesnt seem to add up. I might be all wrong all along..I just dont know, as what I said...

If you're getting $0.03 per click on average then you seriously need to look at the keywords you are using.

Should I just be using all those high paying keywords in the Google adwords keyword tool?

I used the ones with the most relevent and closest to the original site concept and keywords and disregarded the cost per click factor.

Personally I always go for the highest paying one that is as relevant as possible (even if it's just loosely related), you're better off getting less clicks on a high paying keyword rather than going for the most relevant and earning $0.03.

Hello KH,

This is because we show a generic default PPC for the first 24 hours after each click is made, as is stated at the bottom of each stats page in your account. It is unusual for a UK PPC to be that low. If you let me know you're acocunt details, I can have a look as to why the PPC is so low.

As far as high-paying keywords are concerned, as long as they are relevant, we have no problem with them. Setting high paying keywords for the sake of it is most likely to raise red flags.

Thanks guys

Thanks guys, for all your helpful suggestions. I'll try harder with the keywords.

The opposite is happening to me, namedrive's revenue rose after one or two days, but sedo's earning KEEP dropping without reason, before I have about $10 there, but when I trasfered most of my domains to namedrive Sedo's earning started to drop, at the beginning of this month it was about $5, and now it dropped to $2!
