Just had an offer on domain, transfer question?

Hi,

I have just sold a domain for £xxx to a business.

Now how do I go about transferring it to them.

I am unsure how technically minded they are, so would it be best to set up an account at my register for them and then transfer it into that account?

Or is there a way I should go about this?

I have already accepted the offer, I am just waiting for confirmation of payment.

Yes, a .co.uk

If they are not technically minded, ask them for an email address they will use to manage the domain and then transfer it to them via Nominet (if you don't have an account, just sign up with the email address you use for that domain name and it will send you a link to log in). If you haven't agreed with the other party to pay the transfer, you may need to pay it, costs £10+vat.

There are alternative ways, but chances are they may not understand.
