Hey

Just launched beaver professional a new hair care brand that creates natural products like Argan Oil shampoo all sulphate and paraben free unlike any other brand.

An affiliate deal is in the works and will be live in a week or so. However if anyone wants to treat themselves or partners then you can use discount code lovehair for 20% off and free delivery.

Wow Mrh - That's awesome - I wish you the best of luck.
I love ideas like this that start small and someone sees all the way through to a finished product (product, branding, sales, distribution...)

Although not quite as big time, I run a business club at the school I work at and I get as excited with that stuff too.

Looks good. Careful with the use of the words "hair product" and "and all that jazz" it may be misread :)

site looks great and packaging
best of luck
hope is massive for you

Point taken, updated.

Thanks to all for the kind words! Now go buy some shampoo :p

Did you create it or have you just added your own labels.

Where is it manufactured?

'Beaver'? Could you enlighten us as to how this fits your brand.

Will be great to watch as your business grows. Best of luck ad well done, very nice looking site.

I think you need to make it clear exactly what the products are for.
If the are "beaver" hair products, to stop the hair in that area being "rough and curly" then make that clear.
If it is for head hair, or there is an ethnic aspect, then a photograph or drawing of a woman's head would give people confidence that they were ordering the right thing.
Nice site, packaging, etc, but people will only order if they are sure what it is for. Hope it goes well.
Regards
Bruce

Nice packaging and nice site.

The brand name will certainly be topical - just like it has here - which I think can be a positive thing particularly in the early days.

Are you planning to sell through retailers (supermarkets, beauty shops, independent boutiques) and any sales lined up - or simply through your own site with affiliates driving your traffic?

Best of luck.

I too agree it's an interesting brand name (purposely or not) which can help with the edge in current 'recession'.

I genuinely can't figure out if it's a giant link bait idea? :) good luck if it's a genuine business though it's a great looking site and professional branding etc

Yes its real although link bait would be nice, its not intended for that.

I'd love to sell the products in store as well as online, but one step at a time for now.

If anyone wants to treat themselves / wifes / girlfriends / boy friends / mistress I've set up a code just for acorn members

and its ... acorn

I'll leave it live for a good while

Just enter it at checkout for 20% off

I agree with most of the above but being a bit worried I surveyed my Facebook and unfortunately the brand name is a big no no.

Some of the comments that I can post.

Makes you think of big cheesy smiling looking beavers with a dumb hillbilly accent saying buy me maaaa <--- Glaswegian posted this lol

Thought of a hair style full of twigs and messy leaves.

If its good enough though I guess any name will suffice.

Looking at it again. If you were to switch the argan oil to the top and make it more prominent and then have from beaver professional down the bottom it doesn't sound bad at all.

After all the selling point is the oil and not the brand name so it should be the star.

When you are a huge success and have a recognisable brand you could put it back at the top?

At the moment you have no brand as far as I can see so it being so prominent can only cost you.

Looks like a great product, the name is a bit strange tho. Until you click, you are not sure if its a spoof or joke with a name like beaver. intentional or not? either way great looking site and great to see somebody embracing Shopify for a no hassle way of doing e-commerce instead of grinding it out with a Wordpress or the like.

I think I'm your target audience for this, I avoid shampoos with parabens and sulphates, and it's not easy.

I like the look of the site and it would make me feel comfortable buying, the only issue for me is the actual product packaging. It looks very medicinal and clinical, so I first I thought it was a product designed to treat medical issues (hair loss, severely dry scalps, eczema or similar). I'd go for extremely eye-catching but classy packaging aimed at women.

Blossom you're right - Its the use of brown (glass?) bottles that does it in my opinion, the actual labels and branding really look good to me - but im not the target audience so everyone feel free to ignore my post!

i have to agree with the above posts about the rather bland packaging and clinical feel which would say it is a specialist shampoo, also would you need to have this dermatologically tested ? because a law suit would cost a fortune...

Good luck with your new venture

Lovely branding, packaging and site! All the best with the venture!

I have a similar idea for an hygiene product. Please, kindly link me with those that helped with your packaging and branding. Regards.
