Keyword domains / sites like drivers for ......

Has anyone produced a site like or similar to the ones you see for drivers for an old printer or graphics card maybe? Usually brought up by long tail searches for the model make search etc.

They are usually heavy on Adsense or similar adverts and 75% of people WOULD click the ads rather than the actual download or link to the info they need that's usually hidden in the bottom as the small text.

I've done a few on the similar sort of lines with good results quite quickly. Past 30 days from 3 sites £100+ easy from topics or areas people are always wanting answers from or resources on. Like the Printer Driver idea.

A few quick ones off the top of my head that I would maybe recommend trying, and would help to keep niche too.

• Printer Drivers - niche, so Brother
• Recovery Discs for Windows - niche, so Windows 7
• Post Code Look up - Niche, so Manchester
• Surname Meanings - Niche, so only pick the top 20 common surnames
• Bus or Train Times, niche, so London
• Joke Website, Niche, so chicken road jokes

Anyone made decent money from similar? I'd recommend setting one up as a trial for the cost of £5 and a few hours.

I tried with a joke site a few years ago, and had affiliate links on related to the jokes, did bugger all.

A good name dropping tomorrow for this kinda project undeletefiles.co.uk always someone looking for this.

Yep another good example of what the masses search for and a niche.

Either having a few volume sites or a spread bet of 25 micro sites can make a nice bit a month.

It's the longtail stuff that you'll get the traffic from easier too. So example of what you've just mentioned.

• undelete files free software download + windows x
• undelete files instructions from recycle bin

and so on......

Well worth a few that simmer and may one day bubble over into a very nice earner.

I've had good success with long tail affiliates in the adult toys arena, triple word jobbies, not sure about the length your saything tho.

I'd prob go with undeletefiles.co.uk/free-software/download/windows95 then 98, me, 2k, vista, 7, 8 etc, not sure I could bring myself to register freesoftwareundeletefilesdownloads.co.uk heh.

LOL no didn't mean the domain, just the search results people type to get the right results they need.
Phew yeah would be a bit long
