I don't agree - why is n2.uk less valuable? Their all speculative punts at the end of the day. If a band emerged called n2 who became global superstars or a new TV channel. You could argue that z9.uk is way worse and I would say it probably is, that said it is still pretty memorable. Now 0l.uk thats what I would describe as dodgy, but it can be yours for just 50k https://perfectdomain.com/domain/ol.uk
Yes, clearly some will have greater potential demand e.g. A1.uk, U2.uk, O2.uk etc because the phrase is in common usage and/ or more businesses will exist using that phrase. Also quite a lot of them will be postcodes and the ones ending in 1 will probably be synonymous with the city centre area, which again provides some potential to be used as a geo.
It really depends on the letter/number combo. I bought an LN.uk last year for just shy of £1k Some other interesting LNs that have sold recently: f1.uk, h6.uk, i3.uk, t5.uk, f6.uk, r2.uk, v4.uk, x2.uk, s9.uk, j7.uk, i5.uk, n8.uk, a0.uk, x5.uk, h8.uk, d5.uk, h7.uk, p2.uk, l6.uk, n6.uk, w4.uk, t9.uk, u3.uk, x3.uk, n9.uk, x4.uk, z4.uk, i6.uk Source: DomainSalesHistory.uk
Each to their own. I'd rather have n2 all day than l8. Just because l8 could be interpreted as meaning "late "in 2010 text speak, which really is a negative word and I see as a market limiting factor, other than that "l" is a confusing letter in print (or is it a uppercase I?) and 8 is a pretty bad number which only works in this one instance. Now "m8" I think is better as thats positive. I wouldn't say n8 is good though. I think the key numbers for LN domains are 1,2,3 as they seem to work with any letter but the rest require the right letter.
Late need not have a negative connotation. Sometimes it is turned to advantage e.g. laterooms.com and the similar lastminute.com
I think its just hopeless speculation and wishful thinking, that ship has long sailed. Sorry I sound negative.
Ive got a few speculatives, including the text speak one mentioned lol if anyone wants to make offers 3h.uk 6e.uk 6h.uk 6m.uk 6x.co.uk 9h.co.uk 9h.uk l8.uk v9.uk x9.uk
The difference between .co.uk/.uk and .com p6.com - currently in auction at $71k https://uk.godaddy.com/domain-auctions/p6-com-433096428?src=dpp&itc=dpp_absol1&isc=GPPTCOM
Indeed ! If you are genuinely interested in l8 or any of the others i'd let you have for considerably less than that ha ha !
