According to Hitwise, there are a million visits a day to Mothers Day-related sites in the run up to the big day and the UK will spend 927,000 hours this week shopping for Mother’s Day gifts!

The term "mothers day" gets 550,000 local broad searches and 74,000 local exact searches. By the looks of it, over 95% of the traffic comes in the period of a few weeks.
