This launched a few of weeks back with some reasonable coverage from newspapers etc, I'm just a little amazed at the brand/domain they have chosen. I'm a fan of .org.uk, particularly for a company like the national trust, a hyphenated .org.uk?

I'm no marketing expert, but with such as simple concept, could a company look to rebrand the entire project based on a domain name they can get? Or maybe they didn't even try to buy myfarm.org.uk.

The could have better used a subpage of the National Trust site, cant see why they would reg a crappy domain like that.

Nationaltrust / co.uk / myfarm would have been much better

a generic brandable is a stretch on a .org.uk, throw a hyphen in, and it's uglier than pat butcher, without her 'face' on
