Hi Mistrymit

googles your pal, type your name 'consumer debt solutions' in exact search and see what it throws up, view the source of the resulting sites to get a ruff idea of what to base your words on.

right click in the middle of the page and view source will be an option.
Soory i haven;t hada chance to look yet.

Mitesh:

adwords advice

I assume that a "conversion" is a submitted request?

I would simplify the process required to get a conversion.

Have a simple form:

-Debt Level
-Creditors
-Name
-Phone
-Best time to call

The rest of the information can be gathered on the phone....

and don't use "apply now" it sounds to committing. Try the words:

Also you need a logo on your site. It looks unfinished.

try http://contests.sitepoint.com/ and get a logo designed for $150

Also you are missing the key trust points that people look for on finance sites:

- SSL (and SSL security logo)
- address
- phone number
- company name

finally your site does not have any personality....

It needs some pictures see here:

nice smiley face :)

I am busy moving to Australia at the moment but in Jan / Feb I can give you a hand with your adwords. I can even manage it for you (for a small fee)

Anyway this is enough to get you started.

Depending on where he is selling the leads, they will have certain fields that will be required.

This might help your site conversions, but it won't help the merchants conversions. You need to filter out the time wasters on your site so only good leads get through. A bad lead is worse than no lead.

I do debt management lead gen as well, and I know about some of the pitfalls.

Agreed this could be the case with the fields.

If you are going to use "apply now" you need to make sure that your site oozes trust and professionalism. I would not put my details in your site and click "apply now" at the moment. However with a bit of work you can get there.

It is difficult to give accurate advice without knowing all the facts.

I might knock up a logo for you later if I get a chance :)

how about something like this until you get something better?

This is too hard for someone just starting out with adwords. You need a lot of experience/cash to be able to compete in this market.

Adwords is perfect for testing whether or not a concept works - if you are getting no conversions and going through your cash too quickly then the concept is not working.

Try starting out with a much easier niche where you don't need to bid so highly for keywords, this way any mistakes can be ironed out without losing a bundle of cash.

To make this work you need a much better looking site/landing page than you currently have.

You have no google tracking on the page and certainly no conversion tracking code which means you are failing to implement any of the google adwords tools that are going to give you an indication of how your site is performing.

This type of market is certain to cost you a bundle in adwords. Choose something easier whilst you learn the ropes.
