Whats a neutral tag ? Any examples of one. Just curious :D

What happens if I do not want a registrar?

If you can provide your own hosting, you can also use this process to move your domain name onto a neutral tag, which is not associated with any registrar.

It's basically a tag run by Nominet themselves. There was a mention in their FAQ about how they use the neutral tag e.g. if a public-facing registrar goes bankrupt, so that the customers of the registrar still have their domain name.

AFAIK you end up getting rebilled at the 80 pound rate on the neutral tag, so the idea is that the domain owner should retag away to their new choice of registrar ASAP.
