Yes, gift number 2 is the popunders.
Love them or hate them. I'm sitting on the fence on this. A lot of people have come to us asking for pops and so we've implemented, let's call them popunder Lite for now. We are still taking tentative steps in this region and have teamed up with Casale Media. We are splitting this 50/50. At the moment, as we are a new partner for them, their rev share is fairly low and our pops are paying out at around $1.00-1.20 RPM. It's a nice bit of extra cash and it is phase 1. We are looking at doing more interesting things with them.
As far as stats are concerned, due to the rise of Firefox and improving pop blockers, the stats numbers you'll see for the popunders will naturally be lower than the views for your parked domains. We display the views as Casale display them to us.
More things to come on this issue and more things to come later today for new gifrts. More of a prize than a gift, I suppose.

How about own pop-unders?
$1-$2 for 1,000 impressions is not attractive
With relevant affiliate links much much better results could be achieved...
Just let the domain owner upload own html code!
In fact, by using frames it's already possible to add own pop-overs, pop-lefts, pop-downs... Is it acceptable?

ED, how about , can I have a pop under that says "This Domain Name xyz.com may be for sale. Contact ......" Any chance of that as that would be useful for me??

As I said, this is pretty much Popunder Lite for now. It's the first phase which will be developed further. As time goes by we will be adding more feeds and more money to it, but this is the beginning of that.
As far as using your own popunders is concerned, I see little reason why you shouldn't be able to do so, but we'll have to check with Google first. The concern there is that we then lose control of what appears on the page and that is then going against our Google roogles.

Any more info on how to customise this... Like DG i'd love to have one saying this domain is for sale, tried 200 domains with sedo to sell and got f-all and crap income, so this would be great, OR could we customise the "enquire about this domain at..." with a price etc.

I do really like the idea of being able to popunder something saying that the domain is for sale. The problem I could see is that people often see popunders some time after browsing the site which serves the popunder. So, if they look at yourdomain.co.uk and the popunder comes up, they could be on the BBC website by the time they see "This domain could be for sale". I'm not sure if tech would be able to embed the domain into the popunder. Obviously, this would make it work a lot better. If we went along these lines, then we'd have to take the popunder design from you guys and host it ourselves rather than allowing free reign over what appears.
As far as the customize link is concerned, we still don't have the capability of putting whatever you'd like up there. We are currently redesigning a lot of stuff on the system. Huge DB changes, homepage, member area, everything is being looked at during the "quiet" summer moneths - hence not much news on our front at the moment, so we will be bringing a lot of cool new things when people start actually visiting parked domains again after the heatwave.
I'll try and get the go-ahead from tech for hosting personalised popunders. Shouldn't be too tricky.
