While checking to see if a recent sale of mine had been made private, I noticed a few .uk sales listed in DNJournal that don't appear to have been listed here, including (not all)

Storageheaters.co.uk £1999
Reloaded.co.uk $1990
Vintagebikes.co.uk $1490
Across.co.uk $1043
Imagerights.co.uk £1500 (was mine)
Gaff.co.uk $1377
Happypeople.co.uk $1357
Skyzone.co.uk £2950
Carmart.co.uk £2000
Currencycards.co.uk £1988

Hack.uk £5000 and in Feb hack.co.uk went for £1350

With the registrant field as "hack_org_uk" (a non legal entity), it's running the risk of being suspended.

Indeed, though it will only get suspended, which may not matter to them until renewal as no surprises none of the domains are being used (web presence anyway).

From what I know the hack.uk was absolutely nowhere near £5000

Quite common amongst the major domain players to fabricate the sale price to suggest the buyers asset is worth more than it actually is (possibly helps with future re-sale). I take all prices with a pinch of salt unless disclosed in company accounts.

I noticed a good co.uk has been sold to the owner of the .com lately

I would guess it was potentially an xx,xxx sale

Not sure when it was sold because the last update may just of been the renewal, but it will have been the last few months at most.

Not seen it reported anywhere, it was sold by a member on here, is it rude to mention such a domain?

I thought it probably is if they haven't wanted to talk about it themselves, so I haven't.

If its me and a "bird" its subject to a NDA.

It's listed on DNJournal as a Sedo sale but then if you look at the RSS feed for Sedo.com sales it's not in there. No idea why that is - maybe there's a lengthy delay in the update of the RSS feed?

Did it start with an "S" Murray, and renew in November? ;) I know of a few...

Ps, hope all is well and business is treating you kindly.

Well this is all interesting @BG @Bluerock :p

Seems like there are a lot of good sales that never get mentioned publicly

The one I know of was notorious on here for what happened after it dropped, but I shell say no more.

"Shall". Lots of decent sales don't get mentioned. From a selfish point of view what's the benefit in mentioning them in public? :)

Did you just attempt to correct Murray's spelling when there was a very obvious reason why he spelt it like that? :D

Shell, oyster, no? too subtle? :p

I am a hypocrite because I don't care to mention my own sales (not that there are many to talk about) but I do think it's uplifting generally to hear about other people having good sales.

It's good motivation.

If I mentioned the ones I'm involved with

When you say involved with, does that mean domains you personally own or you're brokering? or a mixture.

I don't think I've ever seen you admit you are the registrant of any domains.

Actually mussels.co.uk is up on Sedo for £600, would people buy them on subscription?

I did once consider a fish startup but it would be too much work to scale it

Thank you, I'll be here all week
