Does ND use regional targeting?

I did a search for a service and got ads for two towns a few miles from where I live.. was it luck or that funky ND black magik

No, our IP DB isn't as clever as that sadly. However, Google did say at the TRAFFIC conference in Vegas that they are looking at really localising ads.
I suppose the acid test would be if you asked a kind forum member who lives far away from you to do the same search on the domain. No clicking, mind.

I'd be very interetested to know the results, Goodoo aren't always the most communicative when it comes to telling us of great changes they've made to the system
