Hi All,
I’m wrapping things up and I should be paying attention to shifting domains not buying but I was hanging around in expired and thought I’m going to pick three that are not exact words and maybe obscure but could be relevant and then ask some questions on Acorn.
I regged these the other day for no other reason than they jumped out for different reasons.
SportsBookReview.co.uk – regged 2008 – crawls 25 - .com live – monthly searches = 6.6k – CPC 7.34 -
BigWinCasino.co.uk – regged 2005 – crawls 38 – monthly searches 33.1k –
I only bought those because I own BetEU.com and there has been multiple offers over the years.
Trud.co.uk – regged 2012 – only went for it because it was short, and I was curious - Crawls 118 - Its only got a DR of 2.1 when I guess it should be 25+ - but it has 523 (good or bad) backlinks – And it used to be a jobs board
I'll caveat this by saying I’m not interested in learning about ahrefs or paying then £400pm to have the kind of in-depth stats that you probably need if you’re into finding the high DA/DR dropped domains. Some of which on first sight (look and sound like crap) but they are selling mightily well on DL.
Caveat 2 - before someone comes in and says I wouldn’t have bought them in the first place.
My question is: - Would these or similar domains be better off on Sedo, or simply stick them onto DL and flip them?
I’m leaving the game (to refresh pastures old) so it doesn’t bother me that much but I hope the post and any replies it gets might help other members who could be thinking the same or have related questions but don’t want to ask for the fear of looking out of their depth.
Cheers…
