Hi everyone,

I am looking to sell a site development on behalf of a friend inclusive of popular domain name.

The project is about 80% complete and was started in April 2006 however due to other commitments the development was never finished. It takes after the popular scriptlance type bidding project sites.

Backend administration panels comes included to manage the site content and users. Users have their own unique private panels to manage their projects and payments.

To Do: implementation of payment modules of your choice, from paypal, moneybookers, western union etc.

The site will be supplied with original design files for both layout and logo. I will pay nominet transfer fees.

The site itself just needs a bit of TLC but will be an excellent base and earner in the right hands.

Looking for a good owner willing to take this site basis to the next level.

It's a great domain name though. Perhaps you should focus on selling the domain as I think it could get a good buyer.

Thanks for your reply. As I say I don't own this development but having spoken with the owner they tell me that a fair bit of customization work has gone into the script back in 06 which rely on mostly display and layout as usually the out the box scripts struggle with any sort of template system (well they did in 2006).

We are open to offers for the domain as we believe it would be highly competitive against existing companies.

As mentioned above we can supply the PSD layout and logo should anybody wish to adopt a new script of this type.

Could you get a detailed list of updates / changes that they made so that any potential buyer could compare it against the latest release of the script to see which is the more cost effective solution and to see if their version has all the latest bugs, issues, exploits etc patched and so on. Especially if it was last touched a year or two back. A long time in internet exploit time

Because this development was so long ago and has been sat dormant as mentioned above - customization work went into the display of the script so any sort of upgrade (exploit wise) has not been put into action. Any changes you see will be purely visual for comparable purposes.

I am unsure whether the latest version of the original base script has had a template system built in - if so this should make it a lot easier to complete any sort of changes for someone who does not like working with source code.

This dev was last touched at the end of 2006 as the owner struck lucky on another project. Purely a lack of time prevents this project from receiving the attention which it deserves.
