Strange character instead of £ sign

On my laptop I can't get the £ character and end up with something that looks like a capital L with a line through it - see http://xec.co.uk/html/domain_consultation_service.html and look at prices as an example.

Anybody got any clues how I might get my pound sign back?

Not sure how to set it on your laptop but if you edit this code on your website:

& #321 ; 100

(REMOVE SPACES!)

and replace it with

 £100

That should fix the display on your site.
