Offers Teens.co.uk

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your questions.

The auctioneer estimate is based on a various of things including the potential buyer market/ end users, market potential, similar or related domain name sale in general, previous interest in a domain name etc

I find Catawiki interesting but clearly this estimate is ridiculous

Thanks for you opinion. However, the reserve price is not the same as the estimation of the auctioneer, the reserve price is much lower.

If you'd like to add your domains to Catawiki (in all price ranges), please feel free to contact me.

If teens goes for your auction estimate, I think everyone on here will be listing their domains on there.

Trouble is I (and I can't be the only one) see a stupid estimate like that or estibot is mentioned and immediately I know it's not even going to be worth bidding on because the seller is most likely going to have a ridiculous reserve. Trying to lie to domainers is really stupid in my opinion and works against a sale.

Exactly my thoughts, I don't bother bidding as I think the reserve will be stupid too

Romano is the auctioneer for the domains section on Catawiki.

Doubt that the owner of a company like that will be posting here :D

Correct, I am not the owner just the auctioneer for domain names. However, I've been active on Acorn for 3+ years and bought some domains on this forum as well.

@Bonusmedia: On Catawiki we made some good sales, mainly .nl names but we're an international company so .co.uk names, .com names or other domain extensions are welcome. We give (domain) sellers the oppertunity to reach another group of potential buyers 'outsite' of the usual pool.

Hi Romano, Just wondering as you promoted the domain name on here. Do you also promote the domains to end users? For example did you source a list of possible end users/companies who you thought maybe interested in the domain name and inform them of the auction? This would be a better way of getting a higher price than on a domain reseller forum.

Is this not just a free advertisement for catawiki?

You get someone to do an auction, put a big reserve, come here and say "Hey there's an auction! it's on catawiki!" then people go "oh.. what is catawiki?" and then you get to talk about your auction platform.

I know Helmut is a member here, why didn't he post it was at auction?

Does he even know, domain doesn't forward to the auction as you'd expect. I'd question the current bid price too...sorry!

Sadly one of those great but disastrous domains that's only worth reg fee for obvious reasons.

Hi Mark, yes I did source and approach a list of potential endusers to create awareness for the auction of this domain.
