Trendy.co.uk is a nice name, but it's one of those awkward "semi-brandables" that could be worth a fortune or could never see that level of offers again. Unless you really don't care about the £xx,xxx amount being proffered, best take the money before the offerer changes their mind. Remember, if you counter the buyer can just walk away (even if you ask for just £0.01 more).

hehe - thanks for your input. We will see where this goes. I understand where you come from, but I see this as a long term thing and while I obviously care about xx,xxx, I'd be ok waiting for the right price...thats the thing with this game though, the right price is always what someone is willing to pay.

Personally I think a low £xx,xxx offer for Trendy.co.uk is a fair one. It's a great name but Edwin has explained some solid points.
It really depends on what your long term plans are. You would probably be able to re-invest the proceeds of the sale into some even better domains which, depending on your strategy, could be either a) easier to monetise or b) undervalued and easier to flip for more profit.

Regarding your original question, the £10,100 offer seems very good to me for the domain, if you don't have any plans to develop yourself, it would be a good idea to sell for the offer they have made. Chances are you wont get another offer in the near future, and if you where lucky enough to, i don't think it would be any more than this offer.
Obviously by your posting on here and your high counter offer, it looks like you think its worth a lot more to you (maybe you paid over £10k for it yourself?), so your probably best keeping hold of it.

I bought it as a part of a pool of domain names, so it's hard to say what I paid for that specific domain name - they were not valued on a domain-by-domain basis.
I probably don't have the experience to say if this domain is worth 10, 20 or 30k, which is why I came here to smarten up. It seems the consensus is that I should have taken the offer, hopefully I'll learn from this experience
